Three floating magnetic cleaners. If the halves separate mid-clean the inner one floats up instead of burying itself in the substrate.
- Floating inner half. The single feature worth paying for — a sinking magnet drops into the scape and drags substrate grit across the glass when you retrieve it.
- Three sizes of grip. Use the strongest that still moves easily; over-strong magnets trap grit and scratch.
- Keep it off the substrate line. Most scratched panes come from a grain of sand caught under the pad, not the pad itself.

Safe on acrylic?+
Not recommended. Acrylic scratches far more easily than glass — use a dedicated acrylic-safe pad.
Why did it scratch my glass?+
Almost always a sand grain caught under the pad. Never run the magnet down to the substrate, and rinse the pad after each use.
